Helping to raise £25,000 for The Brain Tumour CharityMay 29, 2015 9:58 am
In September this year, a good friend of Quadrant, Ian Locke, will embark upon a 630 mile cycle ride from Land’s End to Marshall Meadows in memory of his daughter, Holly.
Holly was diagnosed with a brain tumour in February 2014, and bravely fought against it, never once complaining. Sadly, after a second tumour was diagnosed in October last year, Holly passed away in November.
Ian is now set to take up the challenge of the cycle ride, and Quadrant’s Nick Ellson will be joining Ian for a leg along the way. The money raised will be donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, the UK’s leading and largest dedicated brain tumour charity. You can read more about the charity here.
A message from Ian:
“I need to do this for Holly, grit my teeth and get training! This challenge is for her and we WILL complete it, in memory of Holly!
We would love to raise £25,000 to help other people that are diagnosed with a brain tumour as there is only a very small percentage of funds available to this charity!
Thank you for your generosity.”
